Only 5 minutes to the beach, restaurants, cafes and watersports, it is also the ideal location to sit back and relax in your own piece of paradise, or venture to the 23 bays and beaches around Magnetic Island or numerous walking trails and activities.
Magnetic Island is only 25 minutes by ferry (or 45 minutes by car barge) from Townsville.

We are a well travelled couple living in Townsville on The Strand, and in a house at Horseshoe Bay on Magnetic Island. We both have extensive local knowledge regarding parts of Australia as well as overseas, and we are both hospitality trained.

"Steve and Arne are the most incredibly generous hosts. He was there to greet us when we arrived (having talked us through the how to drive there from the airport) and then called us again when we were settling in to make sure we had everything we needed. We did! Everything you need is there - every time we said "I wonder if there's scissors, a pen, whatever .....'' it was there. As well Steve had added some extra wonderful touches like chocolates and wine in the fridge. Great apartment in a great location."
